| A: | You will see a 'Contact Seller' button with each ad. Click on that button to contact the individual or broker who is selling the boat. It is here that you can request specific information about the boat. |
| Q: | Why do I not see my boat in the list on the homepage? |
| A: | Boats appear in this section when they are first added to the site or the ad has been updated in some way (ex. price change, etc.). They only stay on this list for 24 hours.
If you cannot see your ad there it has not disappeared from the site. Use one of the search methods to see your boat. |
| Q: | What happens if I cancel my ad after my credit card has been charged for the automatic renewal? |
| A: | Since you have been notified in advance that your ad will be automatically renewed and you have been requested to notify Boatcan to cancel your ad by a specific expiry date, you will receive a refund minus a $ 10.00 processing fee to cover the time for our staff to make the required changes. |
| Q: | Is it possible to see a list of boats that have been added very recently? |
| A: | Click on Resources and then choose Boat Updates. You will be given a choice of selecting 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days or 14 days. When you make your selection a list of boats will appear noting any changes made during that time period. You will be able to see new, reduced and deal pendings. |

| Q: | How can I list my boat on the Boatcan site ? |

Simply go to the Homepage of the site and select "List Your Boat". There you will find a step by step process. Follow the 4 easy steps and email up to 10 photos to photos@boatcan.com. If you are unable to email photos send them by mail with a self-addressed return envelope. We will scan them, place them and return the photos to you. If you need additional assistance or require our staff to input the data for you please call our office for assistance. |
| Q: | How can I search for a boat on this site? |
| A: | You can use three methods to search:
- select 'Buy a Boat' on the homepage to view the various categories of boats
- select 'Advanced Search' on the right side of the homepage to conduct a very detailed search
- type a keyword into the 'Quick Search' field located on the right side of the homepage. Keywords may include the manufacturer (e.g. Thundercraft or Thundercraft 26 foot), location (e.g., Halifax, British Columbia), fishing boat, ski boat, etc. This will bring forth boats meeting your identified criteria.

| A: | When a boat is first placed on Boatcan it automatically is sent to google to help people find the ad. We also attend numerous boat shows to demonstrate the Boatcan site. |
