Accommodations...
The CS 27 has sleeping accomodation for five.
There is a decent sized V-berth forward. Directly aft
to port is a good-sized head and a hanging locker
to starboard. A door closes off the head area from
the main salon and creates a practical forward
cabin. The salon has a U shaped settee to port
which converts into a double berth, an off centre
table with folding leaves and a single settee/berth
to starboard. The galley is aft with cooking facilities
to starboard and a large ice box to port. The
cockpit is deep and roomy. With no quarterberth
requirements, her cockpit lockers offer unusually
large storage spaces. MAGIC NUMBER has tiller
steering which we prefer for the design and one of
the pluses is, when sailing is over, the tiller folds up
to provide excellent lounging room in the cockpit.

Sails & Rigging...
MAGIC NUMBER is one of the best rigged CS27`s
seen. Although the current owner does not race he
came from a racing background and rigged her
accordingly. All halyards lead aft to excellent
quality stoppers, which are elevated so that lines
exit the sheet stoppers at the same elevation as the
winches.
The boom vang is equipped with snap shackles
at each end so that it can be quickly detached from
the mast and boom, attached to a halyard and used
as a block and tackle in conjunction with the
Rescue Collar to retrieve someone who has gone
overboard. The line is 70 feet long so that it can
feed back to a cabin top winch.
