1981 CS 36 Traditional Sloop Sloop Sailboat with single inboard diesel power...
The CS36T was designed by Raymond Wall, ex-chief sailing yacht designer for Camper and Nicholson, and aimed at the owner looking for high performance in a yacht, ideal for cruising and racing at club level. With her long waterline and moderate displacement to allow the yacht to carry the equipment and accommodations of a true cruiser, and a sail plan of sufficient power for displacement and wetted surface to give her an excellent performance in light airs - the CS 36 achieved her purpose and became a very popular cruiser/racer.
SCARAMOUCHE has a big cockpit and wheel, recessed sail tracks, mast mounted whisker pole and a double anchor roller on an immaculate deck. There is no teak on deck to maintain so there's more time to enjoy sailing!
With a U shaped galley of molded fiberglass, and abundance of fine grain teak with teak and ash sole, the interior is striking. There is an extensive navigation station, six can sleep in comfort on 5-inch foam and she has one of the most functional heads you will find in a sailboat of this size. Forward is a unique cedar-lined hanging locker, a private cabin for two and as much storage space as you'll need for the longest cruise. Overhead, you will find plenty of light and ventilation from two hatches.
SCARAMOUCHE has enjoyed the benefits of belonging to very knowledgeable and capable cruisers. She features just about everything that you would need for long-distance cruising in a very comfortable life-style. Please feel free to call us for complete details and an appointment to tour this well-maintained and equally well-equipped cruiser/racer.
