The Sonsie of Meaford has just completed a 4 year journey known as The Great Loop. The trip included winters in the Bahamas and the Abaco's Islands. The Sonsie was outfitted in 2004 to meet all Bridge Restrictions. Her 41ft Length, 15 ft Beam and 3 ft 6 inch Draft make her an ideal cruising vessel. She is equipped with Twin 5.9 Cummins DSL Engines and a 4000 Watt Onan Generator. 10 deep cycle House Batteries and a 2000 Watt Zantrex Invertor with a 120 AMP Charger provide independent living wether cruising or at anchor.    

A Bow Thruster was added for ease of locking or docking. A full-size Fridge, propane Stove/Oven, Microwave, Coffee Maker, all Utensils, Dishes and Cutlery make for a complete Gally. A TV, DVD Player and professional Sound System make for relaxation in the Main Salon surrounded by Teak and Holly Flooring with black Leather Convertable Sofa and Bed with 2 matching Chairs. The Aft Deck has wicker Chairs and Sofa, a Fridge and Icemaker. The extra large Bridge is equipped with a PC Computer with Nobeltech Navigation Software with all Charts for the Great Loop including Bahamas, Lake Champlain, St. Lawrence River, Rideau Canal and Trent Waterway Systems and all of Georgian Bay. Hard Charts are also included. There is also Radar, Depth Sounder, Auto Helm, and 4 speaker AM FM stereo system. A Companion Sleep Area makes the Bridge function for long over night crossings. The Sonsie also features an extra large Swim Platform with Shower, Dock Box and Swim Ladder, and Weaver davits and pulley system, and Stereo CD player with woofer on Flybridge. Also included is a Avon Hard Bottom 310 Dingy with 15 HP Yamaha Motor.
