1985 CS (Canadian Sailcraft) 36 Traditional Sloop Sailboat with Single Inboard Diesel Power...
This boat is a special CS 36 Traditional that we spent several years to source as we were looking for a CS36T in very good condition and after looking at quite a number of them we finally found Venturer. We first saw her inside in a boatworks where she was undergoing a stripping and epoxy procedure for the hull. While not particularly flattering in that situation, we soon found that the owner at that time took exceptional care of the boat and insisted on the best care and upgrades for her.
For a 1985 boat she was as close to mint as one could expect. We were sold. This was the boat that we were looking for. Since 2006 the boat has been sailed lightly and very well maintained.
So if you are looking for a CS36T in excellent condition and well founded and are prepared to pay a little more for a boat in excellent condition, it may well be worth your while to take a short trip up Hwy 400 to Parry Sound and have a look.
